Water pump vibration

★ Reason: The pump shaft is not concentric with the diesel engine (or motor), the impeller is unbalanced, and the bearings are damaged;

★ Solution: Adjust the concentricity, conduct balance testing on the impeller, and replace the bearings.

Pump filling slow

★ Reason: There is a large gap between the front lining plate and the impeller, the water outlet pipeline cannot seal the air, and the air is fully emptied;

★ Solution: Adjust the gap, adjust the water outlet pipeline, and install a vacuum pumping device.

Pump does not absorb water

★ Reason: Insufficient water injection, inability to discharge air from the pump, leakage in the suction pipe, and large gap between the front lining plate and the impeller;

★ Original solution: Continue to inject water, check the pipeline for air leakage, and adjust the clearance between the impeller and the front lining plate.

Outlet pressure

Low pressure and flow rate

★ Reason: There is air inside the pump, there is a large gap between the impeller and the front lining plate, the clutch is not tightly closed, and the impeller or lining plate is worn;

★ Solution: Empty the gas inside the pump, adjust the clearance to adjust the clutch friction plate clearance, and replace the impeller or lining plate.

Pump wear is fast

★ Reason: Poor construction environment (with large particles), long conveying distance, and long inlet pipeline;

★ Solution: Replace the sand field, add an afterburner unit, shorten the length of the inlet pipe, and reduce cavitation.

The impeller journal wears quickly

★ Reason: Low head of high-pressure water pump, misplaced packing, pump shaft and rear cover not concentric;

★ Solution: Replace the high-pressure pump with a head higher than the mud pump, replace the packing, and adjust the concentricity.
